Our Beliefs

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three Persons: God the Father, Jesus God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. So we believe in one God that exist in 3 Persons. Genesis 1:1,26,27; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2; 2 Corinthians 13:14

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of the world by dying on a cross. He rose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son. He is present in the world to make people aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. The Spirit living within the Christian gives the believer power to live a fruitful and victorious life, to understand spiritual truth, and boldness in sharing the good news with others. The Bible is God's Word to us. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth. The Bible is to determine the Christians beliefs and the way we live our daily lifes.2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Psalm 12:6; 119:105, 160; Proverbs 30:5

People are made in the image of God. People are the supreme object of God's creation and God's love. However all human beings are sinners by nature and by choice, therefore all human beings must have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ to have their sins forgiven and have eternal life.Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6a; 59:1-2; Romans 3:23

Salvation is God's free gift to us, but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin's penalty. We believe in the world-wide body of Christ. It is comprised of only those and all of those who have accepted Jesus into their lives. We also believe that God has called believers to be part of a local church family.Matthew 16:18; Hebrews 12:22-24

People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God in hell or exist forever with God in Heaven. Where we exist forever will depend on if we have a personal relationship with Christ or not. Heaven and hell are real places that will exist forever.
